Annual Bishop's Appeal Committee

The Bishop’s Appeal Committee coordinates the Annual Bishop’s Appeal at Saint Jude each fall. This diocese-wide campaign funds diocesan programs, many of which meet the needs of individual parishes. All funds collected in excess of the Parish goal remain in the Parish Building Fund.

Art and Environment Committee

The Church/Art Environment Committee evaluates the suitability of our church environment for worship and decorates the church accordingly.

Buildings and Grounds Committee

The Buildings and Grounds Committee is charged with advising the pastor on all matters regarding the maintenance of parish real property. They also make recommendations regarding all building improvements. In addition, they propose an annual maintenance budget.

Grapevine

This committee is responsible for the parish’s quarterly newsletter “The Grapevine”. Submissions for the newsletter are due in the Parish Office by the 15th of the month preceding the publication of each newsletter. The newsletter is published each January, April, July, and October.

Development

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee advises the pastor on financial matters pertaining to the parish. Some of its responsibilities are the preparation of annual parish budgets, periodic review of the financial status of the parish, and assisting the Business Manager.

Parish Festival (Eaglemania)

Our parish festival, Eaglemania, is held on a Friday in June every year. The festival is designed not to make a profit but to bring the parish and the neighborhood together for an evening of fun. The festival features food, children’s games, a talent show, a teen dance, and an adult dance with beer garden.

Parish Office

Saint Jude Parish Office is open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., and in the evening and Saturday for scheduled appointments with the priests or parish staff. You may call or visit the office to schedule appointments, to put information in the bulletin, to schedule an event on the parish calendar, to get sacramental records, to register to become a member, to schedule Masses and a variety of other services.

Stewardship Committee

The Stewardship Committee promotes Christian Stewardship in our parish; plans and arranges annual renewal of commitment to stewardship of time, talent and treasure.
