St. John the Baptist Locusts with Honey

• honey
• crescent roll dough
• small pretzel sticks (for antennae)
• raisins (for eyes)
• coloring mixture: egg white thinned with a few drops
  of water and green food coloring  (optional)

Instead of using dough to make a crescent, shape into a locust
as shown in the photo. Insert raisins for eyes, and brush on
coloring mixture. Bake as directed. Insert broken pretzel sticks
for antennae. Serve with honey.

Serve for the Feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist on June 24.
