| The Bishop's Appeal Committee coordinates the Annual
Bishop's Appeal at Saint Jude each fall. This diocese-wide campaign funds diocesan
programs, many of which meet the needs of individual parishes. All funds collected in
excess of the Parish goal remain in the Parish Building Fund. Contact: Pat and Tony

| The Church/Art Environment Committee evaluates the
suitability of our church environment for worship and decorates the church accordingly. Contact: Sarah Johnson at

| The Buildings and Grounds Committee is charged with
advising the pastor on all matters regarding the maintenance of parish real
property. They also make recommendations regarding all building improvements. In addition,

| The Business Office maintains all parish membership
records, including the contributions records, and financial records. Contact: John

| This committee is responsible for the parish's bimonthly
newsletter The Grapevine, the parish web site, and the parish's annual report on
time, talent, and treasure. Submissions for the newsletter are due in the Parish Office by
the 15th of the month preceding the publication of each newsletter. The newsletter is
published each January, March, May, July, September, and November. Contact: Heather

| The Development Committee seeks to develop the message
and needs of Saint Jude Church and School and to reach the broadest possible audience. Contact: Heather

| The Finance Committee advises the pastor on financial
matters pertaining to the parish. Some of its responsibilities are the preparation of
annual parish budgets, periodic review of the financial status of the parish, and

| The Parish Hall (church basement) is used for many parish

This opportunity for parish-wide spiritual renewal is
offered every other year immediately following the feast of St. Jude. It offers a variety
of preachers and opportunities for prayer.

| Saint Jude Parish Office is open Monday through Friday,
from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and in the evening and Saturday for scheduled appointments
with the priests or parish staff. You may call or visit the office to schedule
appointments, to put information in the bulletin, to schedule an event on the parish
calendar, to get sacramental records, to register to become a member, to schedule Masses

| The Parish Pastoral Council consists of twelve elected parish members who serve for a
two-year term in addition to the School Principal, the Pastoral Associate, the Pastor and
other members that may be appointed by the Pastor. The Council meets each month on the
first Wednesday of the month and deals with pastoral issues in an advisory role to the
pastor, helping with important decisions facing the parish. Annual duties include review
and endorsement of the budget along with review and endorsement of capital projects
proposed by the building and grounds committee. The Council is included in the review of
many issues of importance to the parish as they arise. For more information, please
