Saint Jude Youth Ministry is built on the National Conference of Catholic Bishops’ comprehensive model of youth ministry. The three goals of that model are 1) to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today, 2) to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic Faith community, and 3) to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person. St. Jude adheres to each of the eight components of youth ministry namely, advocacy, catechesis, community life, evangelization, justice and service, leadership development, pastoral care, prayer and worship in a combined approach to achieve the three goals of the model of youth ministry. St. Jude youth ministry offers spiritual and social activities for both Junior High (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12) students.
