Safe Environment

Thanks so much for your interest in volunteering at St. Jude Church/School. In order to volunteer, the diocese’s safe environment process must be completed.

 

To complete a minor under 18 safe environment, please print and return this completed document: First version June 6, 2007 (diocesefwsb.org)

 

To complete your safe environment, three steps are needed:


1. Complete safe environment training through Catholic Mutual.

a. New Volunteers WHO HAVE NEVER VOLUNTEERED ANYWHERE WITHIN THE DIOCESE OF FORT WAYNE-SOUTH BEND: CLICK HERE to create an account and begin your training module with Catholic Mutual Group (CMG). 


b. Renewal Volunteers: You should have received an ID and PASSWORD when you were informed that your volunteer status was up for renewal. Please use the ID and Password given. PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. If you have forgotten the ID or Password, please email the Safe Environment Coordinator at (SEC Email Address).  Once you have your ID and Password, CLICK HERE to begin your training module with Catholic Mutual Group. 


c. Returning Volunteers WHO HAVE VOLUNTEERED AT ANY TIME WITHIN THE DIOCESE OF FORT WAYNE-SOUTH BEND, please email the Safe Environment Coordinator at (SEC Email Address) to obtain your ID and Password. PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. Once you have your ID and Password,

CLICK HERE to begin your training module with Catholic Mutual Group. 

 

2. Email Kris Church a copy of the front side of your driver’s license.

3. Complete the Volunteer Application. Please print and return this completed document: DIOCESE OF FORT WAYNE-SOUTH BEND (diocesefwsb.org)
